When SGFP..ca launched, we started with the solid base provided by the tools already present on PrimaryON.ca.

One of the legacy modules that I am pleased to announce is coming back is the appeals module. It is located at SGFP.ca/appeals

During the early days of the pandemic, it served as a nimble and effective tool for polling workforces to gather information on who was interested in lending assistance for Long-Term Care Centre Outbreaks,  Retirement Home Outbreaks, Immunization Centers and CaC COVID clinics. In the Mississauga Halton Region, It was at the heart of the digital backbone. It provided a service that couldn't be delivered elsewhere and served the needs of the region in partnership with the Ministry, the local MH-PCN, the OMA, and the LHIN.

SGFP.ca/addmyappeal is how you can register an appeal as a logged-in user.

Once you create a request, our staff are messaged by the system, and we get to work on contacting you and looking at enhancing the content of the request with appropriate tags and descriptions. Once your appeal is onboarded it will appear as a searchable listing on SGFP.ca/appeals. As a part of this, you will have access to a portal to log in to view the resulting responses. Respondents will not be required to use SGFP.ca and can contact you directly.

It is suitable for Hospitals looking for hospitalists, OHTs and health regional authorities looking for engagement, and Clinics or LTCs looking for doctors. It is integrated with your SGFP.ca/dashboard so that doctors looking for opportunities can pre-register their interests, locations, existing skill sets, and availability. They can register existing and find life-saving and other credentialing opportunities where appropriate.
